Ganishya is not new to music. It's almost like she's been singing all her life. In recent years she's been doing background vocals for the like of BYUMVUHORE and performing on stage with danse troup INKINDI n'IMANZI. So anyone who had the chance to hear ganishya sing her accapella song TUZA is always wondering why he doesn't own one of her record yet.
Truth is she's been waiting for the right time and the right sound, patiently writing down in her song book anything that comes to her heart. "There are songs that I wrote more than five years ago that are just waiting for the right music to come out of my notebook" she says. That was the case for HISHA HISHA, her AMAZINA duet with The Real P. "She's been dying to place that final hook in a song for years" recalls Chantale Nyandwi her manager, and added "so when she heard the first essai of the Rocasso produced song she insisted he completes the song so she could put her hook in it".
On AMAZINA, Ganishya also performs solo on the soulfull INZIRA Y'UBUZIMA, a cool tempo song with a strong message.
