At the beginning of the AMAZINA project we were sure of the kind of music we wanted to fit on the album: it had to be contemporary and futuristic, it had to be electronic and it had to be new. We also wanted to explore the various aspects of today's music both in musical style direction and in the type of sound featured. With that in mind,the hunt for the right producers was launched and lead to the selection of Brussels based JLB MOVE and MASTA P and to Paris's RoCASSO.
While JLB MOVE is highly influenced by instrumental music, Masta P offers a more binary beat driven and less played approach to production. Both producer have their references in the 80's music they grew up listening to. In order to balance that situation ROCASSO was added to the production pool. Rocasso delivers amazing fresh beats with at times an african feel to them.
The combination of the three producers lead to an impressive amout of thirty tracks, thirteen of which made their way to album final version.
